Look what I just bought on Etsy from Annie Oakleaves!

Could she bee any cuter? And I think she was very reasonable priced as well. Grab one up before they are gone because My Paper Crane blogged about them too!

I didn't realize, until I purchased this little red capped lady, that I guess I'm on a mushroom kick. I got a really sweet mushroom print from The Devil's Wallpaper from my sister for my birthday. The one I have is not currently posted in the shop but check here for more mushroom loveliness.

PS- I guess it's been a while since I blogged. Typepad has a whole new set up today. Way to remind me I'm a slacker. Thanks Typepad!
 

In Like a Lion...

In the beginning of March I bought this cute vintage lamb planter from Which Goose's Etsy shop.

I planted some mixed flower seeds in it that my sister-in-law recently brought me back from Colorado. Here's the start of something...and the start of spring. Bring on the April showers so we can get to the good stuff!

This is part of a set of two tea towels. The other is a red chicken. Both art hand embroidered on 100% cotton and are quite lovely! They are available at The Tattered Towel.

These gnome cupcake toppers are the cutest and we all know I have a little bit of a thing for gnomes...and my birthday is coming...hint,hint. They are available at Bake and Destroy. (great shop name!)

And I love this scissor shirt from Circular Accessories. The image is of her grandmother's sewing scissors that now belong to this artist. I love the nostalgia of that. I also am pretty into the goldfish shirt in her shop as well!

What a mail day!

My pot holder came from Marmee Craft with a sweet Thank you card and very well coordinated business card. I love the chartreuse with the aqua trim!

Rick Rack in the "Valentine," color scheme from A Main Collection. I hoping to use this  as trim on  a sweet little dress for a cat or maybe a bunny. (Plush not real. As much as I'd probably enjoy dressing up my kitties I do realize they probably wouldn't enjoy it so I try to refrain.)

150 red and green buttons of different sizes from Charms Galore. The plans it that some of the larger ones will be used to attach  arms and lets to above mentioned plus animals.

And my first mix CD arrived from 62cherries CD Swap.It's mixed by Peta and I believe this is the coordinating blog. Here's her top ten playlist:

OK. So I think I've been posting too much about food lately. So today let me show you a cute little nugget I snapped up on Etsy.

This super sweet potholder is from Marmee Craft who also happens to have a great blog. She posts really regularly too which is nice.

It's printed with a gocco and uses rick rack,very wisely I think!

I love Etsy, I really do. I realize I know this but have never actually blogged about it. The fact that I have a shop is probably a bit of a giveaway, never the less I realize I should mention it. My plan is to mention it often and give shout outs to some of my favorite items out there. Here's the first installment:

Trixiedelicious has a great sense of humor and I love that she is re purposing vintage dishes. This set of one of my favorites...Maybe because I've always had a special place in my heart for the B52s.

And lastly TwoSarahs has some really lovely artwork on wooden blocks. I'm especially fond of the bird silhouettes.

I'm going to try and make this a fairly regular feature on the blog which shouldn't be hard because there are so many awesome craftsters/ artists on etsy!
